Nurse Practitioner
Nurse practitioners are registered nurses (RNs) who have the education and experience to autonomously diagnose and treat your illnesses. They can order and interpret medical tests as well as prescribe medications. Nurse practitioners assess patients by examining medical histories, performing wellness evaluations, and using diagnostic tests.
What Is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine is a practice of medicine that allows healthcare professionals to deliver care at a distance. While practicing within their scope of practice are able to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients at the comfort of their home via telecommunication technologies. It allows for long distant patient and clinician contact, patient care, health promotion/prevention and monitoring.
